Security Tools - Install Instructions

Overview
This document will walk you through deploying Premier One's security tools onto your workstation.
These instructions are only for work-issued devices, do not install any of these tools on your personal computer. 
Extracting the files
You should have received an email with a ZIP folder that contains the installers. Once downloaded onto your computer, right click the file in your Downloads and select "Extract all"
The folder with the extracted contents should open automatically.
Note: If you are an OP2 client, make sure you are downloading these onto your local workstation, and you are NOT logged into the OP2 environment.

Blackpoint
Right click the file "snap_installer" and select "Run as Administrator"
The Blackpoint installer is client specific, so make sure you are only using the one sent by Premier One
An installation prompt will appear, guiding you through the install. Accept all default prompts. It is normal to see several installation windows appear and disappear
Confirm the Installation
To make sure that the install went through, open up task manager either by right clicking the taskbar at the bottom and selecting "Task Manager" or using the Control + Alt + Del keyboard shortcut to access it.
Under processes, search for SNAP and check for the two names listed in the screenshot:
With the same Task Manager window open, navigate to the "Services" tab and search "Snap" again to make sure the service shows it is running:


Sentinel One
In the same folder you previously downloaded, right click the "Sentinel Installer" and select Run as Administrator
Follow the instructions to complete the download
You will be asked to enter a site token. This will be shared with you in the email containing the installers .zip file. 
Copy and paste the token from the email on the screen you see here:

Once again, open Task Manager and search for "SentinelOne" to ensure that the install went through:
SentinelOne does require a reboot of the computer after the install is complete. Please reboot your workstation at your earliest convenience after completing the installation.
Office Install
Depending on if you already have Office apps installed on your workstation or not, your ZIP file may contain a file to download Office apps, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. It will be labeled "OfficeSetup.exe" 
The Office installation is pretty straightforward, but may take some time depending on your internet speeds. Double click the file to begin the installation - you can let this run in the background while you continue to work, and it will notify you once it has completed.
